About The Role We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Delivery Manager to oversee the execution of our product development efforts across multiple teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our engineering and product teams operate seamlessly, adhere to deadlines, and deliver high-quality features on schedule.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software development processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate complex projects with multiple stakeholders. You will act as the linchpin between the founder's vision, engineering teams, and product managers, translating strategic goals into actionable tasks and ensuring transparency and accountability at every stage.

Qualifications

- Proven experience managing day-to-day delivery for engineering teams, preferably in a fast-paced tech environment.
- Hands-on experience with ticketing systems such as Jira, with a focus on maintaining an accurate, live plan.
- Exceptional written communication skills, capable of translating technical and strategic inputs into clear,



actionable tickets.
- Technical literacy to understand engineering challenges and identify when solutions or answers do not align.
- Strong interpersonal skills to chase progress, resolve blockers, and foster collaboration across parallel teams.
- Experience managing release cycles, particularly for mobile applications, understanding app store review processes.
- Ability to maintain honest, transparent status updates, even when facing setbacks or delays.
- Proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
- Prior experience in a leadership role or covering for senior management, with a focus on project delivery and team coordination.

Responsibilities

- Maintain and update Jira tickets meticulously, ensuring all tasks are accurately described, statuses are current, and no stale items remain.
- Monitor daily progress across eight teams, ensuring that project sequences remain on track and deadlines are met.
- Translate the founder’s strategic input into detailed tickets that enable teams to execute without requiring frequent meetings.
- Establish and uphold a consistent development rhythm, including daily standups, sprint planning, notes, and blockers management.
- Act as a backup for the Head of Engineering, sharing accountability for project delivery and team coordination.




- Identify potential risks or delays early and communicate effectively with stakeholders to mitigate issues.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment on priorities, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Support mobile release cycles by coordinating with app stores and managing review timelines.
- Utilize AI tools daily for writing, debugging, and accelerating delivery processes, embedding automation into workflows.
- Provide honest and transparent status reports, highlighting challenges and progress to leadership and teams alike.
