Project / Program Manager (1 Year Contract) - Location: Bengaluru

Your Responsibilities

- Maintain an integrated master plan covering all key India market-entry activities, projects, milestones and dependencies.

- Ensure all tasks and deliverables are captured, with clear owners, timelines, priorities and status.

- Maintain a structured record of key decisions, action items and follow-ups, ensuring decisions are translated into execution.

- Establish clear accountability across workstreams without assuming line-management responsibility for functional teams.

- Track progress against timelines, milestones and budgets; identify delays, gaps and potential cost overruns early.

- Design and maintain clear dashboards and reporting mechanisms that provide management with an up-to-date overview of progress, risks, budgets, priorities and required decisions.

- Coordinate across multiple projects and functions to ensure alignment, identify overlaps and dependencies, and prevent workstreams from operating in silos.

- Establish and maintain an effective operating rhythm, including project reviews, cross-functional alignment meetings, action tracking and management updates.

- Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, ensuring appropriate owners and mitigation actions are in place.

- Challenge unclear ownership, unrealistic timelines and unresolved blockers,



and escalate issues when management intervention is required.

- Continuously improve project management processes and tools while keeping them practical and appropriate for a fast-moving startup setting.

- Support additional strategic, operational or execution-related initiatives as required to ensure the overall programme continues moving forward.

Qualifications

- Proven project/programme management experience of at least 3 years in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

- Strong organisational, prioritisation, stakeholder and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, risks, dependencies and budgets.

- Skilled at translating ambiguity into clear actions, ownership and accountability.

- Experience with dashboards, reporting and project-tracking systems.

- Proactive, independent problem-solver with strong attention to detail.

- Professional proficiency in English.

Required Skills

- Experience in robotics, AI, automation or other technology-driven industries.

- Experience supporting market entry, expansion, organizational setup and strategic initiatives.

- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g. Teams, Planner, ClickUp, HubSpot).

- Experience working across Indian and multicultural teams; knowledge of the International business environment is a plus.

- Basic understanding of finance, budgeting and cost control.
