Role Description This remote Project Management Intern role is an internship position focused on supporting project teams in planning, tracking, and delivering key initiatives. The intern will assist in organizing projects, creating and updating project plans, and maintaining status reports.
Daily tasks may include coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and notes, tracking action items, and helping monitor timelines, risks, and dependencies. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, contributing to process improvement efforts, and supporting program management activities as needed.
The intern will gain hands-on experience with project management tools and methods while working closely with experienced project managers and team leads.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to collaborate in remote teams.
- Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills to assist with timelines, task coordination, and project documentation.
- Candidates should possess Program Management awareness to support broader initiatives, align project activities, and track progress across workstreams.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project), strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Business, Management, Healthcare Administration, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare or health technology and prior internship or project experience in a team setting are advantageous.
