Position: Program Manager

Subhas Chandra Bose Chair on International Relations, Chanakya University, Bengaluru

Role Summary The Program Manager will plan and manage the academic, research, and outreach activities of the Subhas Chandra Bose Chair on International Relations, working closely with the Chair Professor and the Dean (SLGPP). The role combines programme coordination, policy research support, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on India’s foreign policy and global affairs.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute Chair-led programmes, events, and policy dialogues
- Coordinate research outputs, policy briefs, and publications
- Manage timelines, budgets, documentation, and reporting
- Liaise with faculty, visiting scholars, policymakers, and partner institutions
- Support donor engagement, and outreach activities

Qualifications

- Master’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, or related field
- Relevant experience in a university, think-tank, or policy organisation
- Solid research, writing, and programme management skills

Reporting

- Reports to the Dean, SLGPP and the Chair Professor, Subhas Chandra Bose Chair on International Relations
