Program Manager - digital transformation (Willing to travel to Jamaica)

Summary:

An accomplished technology leader with over 25 years of progressive experience in IT delivery, enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and large-scale program management. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional track record of delivering complex technology initiatives for financial services organizations, particularly cloud migration, application modernization, and enterprise digital transformation programs.

This is a client-facing, onsite leadership role responsible for driving technology strategy, governance, delivery excellence, and stakeholder management across multiple high-value transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute enterprise technology strategy aligned with business objectives.

Lead multiple large-scale programs and strategic technology initiatives simultaneously.

Drive cloud migration programs (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) from assessment through execution.

Lead enterprise digital transformation initiatives including modernization of legacy platforms.

Establish technology governance, delivery frameworks, and PMO best practices.

Manage technology portfolios with complete ownership of scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk.

Build strong relationships with CXOs, business leaders, regulators, and external technology partners.

Provide executive leadership to project managers, architects, engineering teams, vendors, and consulting partners.

Ensure compliance with financial industry cybersecurity policies, and enterprise architecture standards.

Drive Agile, Hybrid Agile,



and Waterfall delivery methodologies where appropriate.

Lead, executive reviews, and governance forums.

Identify delivery risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Required Experience

Minimum 25 years of IT industry experience.

Minimum 15 years managing enterprise-scale technology programs.

Proven experience delivering large digital transformation initiatives within financial services.

Extensive experience in cloud migration and cloud transformation programs.

Strong background managing application modernization, infrastructure transformation, and enterprise integration projects.

Demonstrated success managing distributed, cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.

Experience handling technology budgets exceeding USD 20M (or equivalent) is desirable.

Strong client-facing consulting experience with global banking or financial institutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related areas

PMP (Project Management Qualified) certification – Mandatory.

Agile certifications (SAFe, Scrum Master, PMI-ACP) – Preferred.

Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) – Preferred.

TOGAF or enterprise architecture certifications – Advantageous.
