Digital Decoupling Production Support Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Production Support Engineer to support our Digital Decoupling platform across the AFR and EUR zones. The role involves supporting backend applications developed using .NET and SQL Server, Azure-based integration services, enterprise data flows, and integrations with SAP, S/4HANA, and O9 solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, service restoration, and continuous improvement of critical digital integration services.

Technical Skills

- Solid experience in .NET/C# , REST APIs , SQL Server , stored procedures, and production troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Functions , Durable Functions, Logic Apps , Azure Data Factory , Event Hubs , and Service Bus.
- Experience supporting event-driven architectures, asynchronous messaging, retries, dead-letter queues, and workflow failures.
- Proficiency in Datadog monitoring, logging, dashboards, alerts, and application observability.
- Experience with ServiceNow , SAP, S/4HANA , O9 solutions, APIs , JSON/XML, data flows, and enterprise integrations.

Production Support Responsibilities

- Provide L1/L2 production support for Digital Decoupling applications across AFR and EUR zones.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application, integration, messaging, data pipeline, and data reconciliation issues.
- Manage incidents,



problems, changes, and support tickets through ServiceNow, including tickets generated by O9 solutions.
- Perform root-cause analysis, SQL-based data validation, approved production fixes, and post-incident documentation.
- Coordinate with development, cloud, database, SAP, S/4HANA, O9, and business teams to restore services within agreed SLAs.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in production support, application support, cloud operations, or integration support.
- Microsoft Azure certifications are advantageous.
- Experience working in a global support model across multiple time zones.
- Experience supporting supply-chain, retail, manufacturing, logistics, or enterprise planning systems is beneficial.
