Role Description:
This is a full time, on-site Production Planning – Senior Executive role based in Bengaluru. The position focuses on planning and organizing production activities, including creating and updating production schedules, monitoring work orders, and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as procurement, manufacturing, quality, and logistics. The role involves analyzing capacity and resource requirements, tracking material availability, and ensuring that production plans align with customer delivery commitments and safety standards.
The Production Planning – Senior Executive will use planning systems and data analysis to identify bottlenecks, support continuous improvement initiatives,
and maintain accurate reporting on production performance and inventory levels. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to resolve planning issues promptly and support operational efficiency within Safran’s manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong production planning and scheduling skills, with experience in coordinating manufacturing activities and managing work orders.
- Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems or similar production planning tools, along with solid data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, including inventory control, material requirements planning, and vendor coordination.
- Understanding of aerospace or high-technology manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety practices is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across operations, procurement, and engineering teams.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems under time constraints, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a production environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Any engineering with 4 to 6 years of experience industrial management, operations, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in production or supply chain mamnagement.
- Comfort working in an on-site, fast-paced industrial setting and adapting to global company processes and compliance requirements.
