Reporting To: Production Manager / Plant Head

1. Job Purpose

To plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to ensure on-time production, optimum utilization of manpower and machines, availability of materials, and achievement of daily/monthly production targets while maintaining quality and GMP requirements.

1. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Production Planning

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Plan production according to customer orders and dispatch requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, QA/QC, and Dispatch departments.
- Prepare product-wise and batch-wise production schedules.
- Prioritize urgent and critical orders.

B. Material Planning
- Check availability of raw materials and packaging materials before production.
- Coordinate with Stores and Purchase for material availability.
- Identify material shortages in advance and communicate them to the concerned department.
- Ensure proper planning to avoid production stoppage due to material shortages.

C. Production Monitoring
- Monitor actual production against the planned quantity.
- Maintain daily production planning and achievement reports.
- Identify production delays and coordinate with the concerned department for corrective action.
- Track machine and manpower availability.
- Monitor batch completion and production status.

D. Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Stores, Purchase, Maintenance, and Dispatch.
- Communicate production priorities and schedule changes to supervisors.
- Follow up on pending batches and ensure timely completion.
- Participate in daily production review meetings.

F. GMP & Quality Compliance
- Ensure production planning supports GMP requirements.
- Follow approved production procedures and batch schedules.
- Ensure proper coordination with QA/QC before starting and completing batches.
- Maintain proper production records and traceability.
- Immediately report deviations, delays, or quality-related issues.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Chemical, or related field.
- Experience in production planning is preferred.
- Freshers with good Excel and communication skills may also be considered.

- Production planning and scheduling.
- Basic knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Basic knowledge of GMP and documentation.
- Ability to work under production targets and deadlines.

1. Experience

Preferred: 1–3 years in production planning/manufacturing.

1. Authority

- Prepare and revise production schedules with approval from the Production Manager.
- Escalate material shortages, manpower shortages, machine breakdowns, and production delays.
- Recommend changes in production sequence based on material availability and dispatch priority.

1. Working Conditions

- Full-time position.
- Work involves coordination with the manufacturing floor, Stores, QA/QC, Purchase, and Dispatch.
- May require extended working hours during urgent production requirements

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
