Role Description The Production Manager will oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations at the Chandigarh, India facility in a full-time, on-site capacity.

Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production, managing resources and workflows, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards. The role involves coordinating with design, procurement, and quality teams to optimize output, reduce downtime, and meet delivery timelines.

The Production

Manager will monitor key performance indicators, drive process improvements, and lead production staff through clear communication, coaching, and performance management.



This position requires hands-on involvement on the shop floor and proactive problem-solving to maintain efficient and reliable operations.

Qualifications

- Strong production planning, scheduling, and workflow management skills, ideally within electronics manufacturing or related industries.
- Experience in quality assurance, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, 5S, Six Sigma basics).
- Proficiency in using production management tools or ERP systems for tracking inventory, orders, and resource utilization.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including team supervision, training, and performance management in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of safety standards, compliance requirements, and best practices in factory operations.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and time management.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work with engineering, procurement, and quality teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial production, or a related field; relevant postgraduate or professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience as a Production Manager or in a similar supervisory role within electronics or high-tech manufacturing is strongly preferred.
