Role Description The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vellore, responsible for overseeing end-to-end production of rehabilitation devices. The role involves planning and scheduling production activities, managing resources, and ensuring that output meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

The Production

Manager will coordinate with design, engineering, and supply chain teams to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing efficiency. Daily responsibilities include monitoring production metrics, resolving operational issues, supervising production staff, and maintaining clear documentation and reporting.



The role also requires continuous improvement of processes, implementation of best practices, and support for scaling production as the company grows.

Qualifications

- Experience in production management or manufacturing operations, preferably in medical devices, healthcare technology, or related hardware products.
- Knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and workflow optimization, with the ability to manage timelines and resources effectively.
- Understanding of quality assurance, safety standards, and regulatory compliance relevant to healthcare or medical devices.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the capacity to coordinate cross-functional teams on-site.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and collaborate closely with engineering and design teams.
- Proficiency in using production management tools or ERP systems, and in maintaining accurate reports and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, production management, industrial engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced startup environment.
