About the Role

GMB Sweets is looking for an experienced Production Manager with hands-on experience in sweet manufacturing/production. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete sweets production process, ensuring quality, hygiene, timely production, and efficient utilization of manpower and raw materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise daily sweets production activities.
- Plan production as per orders, demand, and inventory requirements.
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, freshness, and presentation of sweets.
- Supervise production staff, assign duties, and monitor their performance.
- Ensure proper utilization and handling of raw materials and ingredients.
- Maintain production schedules and minimize wastage.
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
- Monitor production equipment and coordinate for maintenance when required.
- Maintain production records, stock consumption, and wastage reports.
- Coordinate with the purchase, kitchen, sales,



and management teams.
- Identify production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Train and guide production staff to maintain standard recipes and processes.

Candidate Requirements
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in sweets production/manufacturing.
- Experience specifically in a sweet shop, मिठाई manufacturing unit, bakery, or similar food production setup is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traditional and modern Indian sweets production.
- Valuable knowledge of food hygiene and quality control.
- Ability to manage a team and handle production targets.
- Good leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
