Role Description The Production Manager – Machine Shop (CNC-VMC) will oversee day-to-day operations of the CNC and VMC machining facilities, ensuring productive workflow, optimal machine utilization, and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production, allocating resources, coordinating with design, maintenance, and quality teams, and monitoring output against targets. The role involves supervising machine operators, implementing process improvements, enforcing safety practices, and maintaining accurate production documentation and reports.

Manager will also support continuous training, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with management on capacity planning and cost optimization. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Khandala.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in CNC and VMC machine shop operations, including programming oversight, tooling selection, and process setup.
- Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization within a high-precision manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality control practices, dimensional inspection, and adherence to relevant manufacturing standards.
- Experience in team supervision, shift management, and performance monitoring for machine operators and technicians.
- Ability to analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Solid understanding of machine maintenance coordination and basic troubleshooting of machining-related issues.
- Effective communication and documentation skills, including preparation of production reports and coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field; prior experience in a precision machine shop or die-casting environment is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with ERP or production management systems and basic MS Office skills.
