Key Responsibilities

- Plan and monitor daily production as per customer requirements and production schedules.

- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

- Allocate manpower and machines effectively across production activities.

- Monitor machine utilization, productivity, rejection, rework, and downtime.

- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, PPC, and HR for smooth production operations.

- Ensure adherence to approved SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.

- Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.

- Monitor production processes for CNC/VMC/Turning/Grinding or other precision machining operations, as applicable.

- Ensure proper handling of raw materials, tools, gauges, and finished components.

- Maintain production records, shift reports, rejection reports, and other required MIS.

- Conduct shift handovers and communicate production-related issues to the concerned departments.

- Ensure 5S, housekeeping, safety, and discipline on the shop floor.

- Train and guide operators and production staff to improve productivity and process compliance.

- Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen,



and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Investigate production issues and coordinate for root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality systems, and applicable ISO requirements.

Required Skills

- Production planning and shop-floor management

- Manpower handling and team leadership

- Knowledge of CNC/VMC/precision machining processes

- Knowledge of production documentation and MIS

- Problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing

- Basic knowledge of quality tools and inspection processes

- Good communication and coordination skills

- Computer knowledge, especially MS Excel

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related engineering field.

- Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience in a precision engineering/manufacturing setting.

- Experience in handling shop-floor operators and production teams will be preferred.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
