Qualification Required:

- Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering (BE)

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and supervise day-to-day battery pack production and assembly activities.

- Ensure production is carried out as per approved SOPs, work instructions and production plans.

- Monitor production output and ensure targets are achieved within the planned timelines.

- Assist in the assembly of Lithium-ion battery packs, modules and related components.

- Ensure proper handling and usage of cells, BMS, connectors, wiring, enclosures and other production materials.

- Monitor and maintain production parameters and process quality.

- Perform and monitor basic electrical and functional testing of battery packs as per defined procedures.

- Coordinate with the Quality, Stores, Purchase, Design and Maintenance teams for smooth production.

- Identify production issues, defects, rejection and process deviations and report them to the reporting manager.

- Assist in troubleshooting production and assembly-related issues.

- Maintain daily production reports, rejection reports, inspection records and other production documentation.

- Ensure proper material consumption and minimize wastage during production.





- Follow all prescribed safety procedures, especially those related to Lithium-ion batteries and electrical equipment.

- Support process improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality and efficiency.

- Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions for recurring production issues.

- Ensure proper identification, handling and storage of battery cells and other components.

- Support production trials, new product assembly and process development activities whenever required.

- Perform other production-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of Production / Manufacturing processes.

- Basic knowledge of Lithium-ion batteries and battery pack assembly will be an advantage.

- Basic understanding of electrical and electronic components.

- Knowledge of BMS, battery cells, wiring, connectors and testing will be an added advantage.

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production documentation.

- Ability to work on the shop floor and coordinate with production operators.

- Robust willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
