Position OverviewWe are looking for a result-oriented Production Operations professional with 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably from the IVD, medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or related regulated manufacturing industry.

The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day production operations, improving productivity and process efficiency, reducing wastage and downtime, and implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologiesacross production processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day production operations to achieve production targets as per quality and delivery requirements.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and production capacity.
- Prepare and monitor production plans, schedules, output, and achievement reports.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives for productivity improvement, waste reduction, process optimization, and cost reduction.
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement / Kaizen initiatives.
- Apply Six Sigma tools and methodologies for process improvement and problem-solving.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto Analysis, and other problem-solving techniques.
- Monitor and reduce process variation, rejection, rework, wastage, downtime, and cycle time.
- Implement and maintain 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work,



Line Balancing, Poka-Yoke, and other Lean practices.
- Monitor OEE, productivity, yield, rejection rate, downtime, and other production KPIs.
- Coordinate closely with QA/QC, R&D;, Engineering, Warehouse, Purchase, and Maintenance for smooth production operations.
- Ensure production is carried out strictly as per SOPs, BMR/BPR, work instructions, specifications, and applicable QMS requirements.
- Maintain proper production documentation and ensure data integrity and traceability.
- Identify bottlenecks and develop practical solutions to improve production capacity and operational efficiency.
- Lead and train production personnel on Lean, 5S, process discipline, quality awareness, and continuous improvement.
- Support implementation of automation and process improvement projects wherever applicable.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP/QMS, ISO and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence within the production team.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in B.Tech / B.E. / B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc. / M.Sc. or relevant technical/manufacturing discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in production/manufacturing operations.
- Experience in IVD, medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals,



or other regulated manufacturing environments will be preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Candidates with Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt certification will be preferred.
- Practical knowledge of Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, VSM, Poka-Yoke, SMED, Kanban, and Line Balancing.
- Solid understanding of RCA, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, process mapping, and data-driven problem solving.
- Good knowledge of production planning, manpower management, inventory coordination, and process control.
- Working knowledge of ERP/SAP systems will be an advantage.
