Role & responsibilities :The Production Associate Trainee Diploma will support manufacturing, assembly, testing, and production activities for GE HealthCare medical devices and equipment. The trainee will work according to defined quality standards, safety guidelines, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Candidates will receive training on manufacturing processes, quality systems, safety requirements, and Lean manufacturing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assembly, sub-assembly, testing, inspection, and packaging activities.
- Operate basic production machines, tools, jigs, fixtures, and testing equipment.
- Follow work instructions, SOPs, and daily production plans.
- Perform basic quality checks and report defects or process abnormalities.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
- Follow all Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements and use required PPE.
- Maintain 5S, cleanliness, and discipline on the shop floor.
- Participate in technical, quality, safety, and Lean manufacturing training.
- Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and other support teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Be willing to work in shifts based on production requirements.
Experience:
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with manufacturing, assembly, testing, or production experience will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to medical devices, electronics, automotive, or other regulated manufacturing industries is preferred.
