About the role

We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Formulations R&D; Process Scale-Up Specialist with 2–5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role requires a candidate with hands-on expertise in scaling up laboratory processes to industrial production, technical problem-solving capabilities, and excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Requirements

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in agrochemical formulations manufacturing environments
- Diploma, BSc, MSc, or other relevant graduate qualification
- Strong experience in contract or job-work manufacturing setups for herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides
- Good understanding of agrochemical formulation processes including EC, SC, WP, and WG
- Familiarity with plant operations, technology transfer processes,



and maintaining plant operation records
- Ability to prepare and manage plant operation reports, BMR documentation, and site assessment reports

Skills & Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Process Scale-Up

- Oversee the complete R&D; process from laboratory scale to commercial production
- Collaborate with the R&D; team on process optimization, modifications, and pilot-scale trials

2. Plant-Scale Integration

- Lead the scale-up process from commercial pilot to plant-scale implementation, ensuring technical feasibility and process reliability
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to optimize plant processes and troubleshoot potential challenges

3. Job-Work Site Management

- Act as the primary liaison with contract manufacturing partners, managing day-to-day operations and resolving on-ground challenges
- Oversee raw material receipt, in-process quality checks, and finished goods dispatch
- Serve as Atomgrid’s on-ground representative, ensuring process integrity and confidentiality
- Track market activity, including manufacturing trends, capacity utilization, and new developments across key regions

4. Plant Operations & Manufacturing Oversight





- Oversee day-to-day plant operations and supervise plant and project activities across sites
- Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) provided by Atomgrid
- Track and report plant operations data on a daily basis
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for deviations and share reports with management
- Travel across India for commissioning and manufacturing activities

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or an agrochemicals-related field

Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in R&D; process scale-up and plant integration

Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Energetic, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
