As a Product Owner, you will work closely with development teams, UX designers, QA, and product managers to define product requirements, and guide engineering teams towards achieving product objectives. You would be reporting to the Director of Product Management who is based in India.

Job Role and Responsibilities: The Product Owner will play a crucial role in managing product functionality and ensuring alignment across Product and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be tech savvy (think REST APIs, JSON structures), be able to guide both product managers & engineering teams in the face of ambiguity and help the organization achieve its business outcomes.

Backlog

- Conduct / participate in product discovery sessions to ensure that the product vision is being converted to actionable user stories for development
- Prepare and oversee development of user stories based on product discovery sessions.

Acceptance

- Work closely with development teams to review work-in-progress
- Establish suitable metrics to verify if development is achieving business objectives

Go to market

- Demonstrate delivered work during end of sprint showcases to stakeholders
- Prepare documentation for usage by other business teams, such as Product Marketing and Customer Support
- Coordinate with other departments / business teams for go-live of product

Business Analysis





- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements by collaborating with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, QA, and business teams.
- Translate business needs into explicit functional requirements, process flows, acceptance criteria, and user stories that support development and testing.
- Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and impacts across systems, workflows, and customer-facing experiences to support informed product decisions.
- Support requirement clarification, sprint planning, UAT coordination, and stakeholder sign-off to ensure delivered solutions meet business objectives.

Skills / experience needed:

- 4-8 years of experience as a Product Owner in a Scrum team.
- Ability to connect product functionalities with viable and measurable business metrics.
- Ability to break down software functionalities into incremental releases
- Ability to identify dependencies across multiple engineering teams
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills. Tools experience
- Agile tools: Jira, Confluence
- Wireframing and whiteboarding, e.g. Miro
- Office suites: SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word Processing software.
