About LeanHyphen - We build gamified, scenario-based financial literacy learning for students — interactive simulations where students learn by making real choices and living with the consequences. We ship fast, and our users are 13–18 year olds who bounce the moment something feels clunky or breaks.

The role - You are the person who makes sure what we ship actually works, and who brings back the research that shapes what we build next.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- QA & Dev-Mode Testing — Test every lesson end-to-end before launch, including scoring, progress tracking, narration, animations, final reports, and data saving. Test across different devices, browsers, and slow network conditions. Perform unit testing, integration testing, security testing, load/stress testing, and end-to-end testing. Re-test all functionality after fixes to ensure no regressions are introduced.
- Edge case thinking — this is the core of the role. Hunt for the ways things break: double-taps, mid-lesson refreshes, tab switches, back button, idle timeouts, zero scores, perfect scores, every wrong answer. Design those scenarios deliberately.
- Bug reporting — clear, reproducible reports with steps, expected vs actual, screenshots. Prioritise blockers over polish. Track to closure and verify the fix.

•Market & competitor research — track EdTech, fintech and gamified learning in India and globally. Study competitor launches, pricing and positioning, plus the school and curriculum landscape.



Turn it into short, decision-ready briefs.

•User research — talk to students, teachers and parents. Run feedback loops. Check that our scenarios, prices and language feel authentic to an Indian student today.

•Product support — help shape lesson flows, scenario copy, question sets and scoring logic. Maintain specs, test cases and the research repository.

•Analytics — read drop-off, time-on-task and score patterns. Flag design problems disguised as user problems. Bring one improvement idea every week, backed by something you measured.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Must have — sharp attention to detail. A naturally suspicious mind that assumes things are broken until proven otherwise, transparent written communication, structured thinking, comfort working self-directed and remote.

Preferred — one prior product internship, familiarity with Figma, Sheets, Jira or analytics tools, a rough sense of how web products are built and AI Tools used.
