Procurement Manager with strong experience in commercial interiors, offices, and café projects, with a focus on cost control, vendor strategy, and execution alignment. You will work with Olsen Spaces, a company building premium coworking and office spaces across Bangalore, led by IIT Madras second-time founders. Skilled at managing procurement not just as purchasing, but as a key driver of cost efficiency, timelines, and project execution, while working closely with design, execution, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Cost Control & Commercial Ownership (Core Role)

● Manage project-level budgets related to materials and procurement

● Benchmark costs and identify opportunities for savings

● Ensure financial discipline across all purchases

● Work closely with design and execution teams to balance cost vs design vs timelines

- Vendor Strategy & Management

● Build and manage a strong network of vendors across categories

● Evaluate vendors based on cost, reliability, quality, and timelines

● Negotiate effectively to achieve best value (not just lowest price)

● Continuously improve vendor performance and relationships





- Procurement Planning & Execution

● Plan procurement in alignment with project timelines

● Ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials

● Track dependencies and avoid execution delays due to procurement gaps

● Coordinate across multiple projects simultaneously

- Cross-Functional Coordination

● Work closely with designers, project teams, and founders

● Align procurement with layout, material selections, and execution plans

● Participate in discussions where cost and feasibility decisions are made

- Inventory & Material Control

● Track materials across sites (ordered, delivered, pending)

● Avoid over-ordering, wastage, and stockouts

● Build structured systems for inventory visibility

- Systems & Process Building
