Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement of Coal, Coke, Scrap, DRI/HBI, Pig Iron, Ferro Alloys & Silico Manganese, and other materials for steel manufacturing
- Develop and maintain strong supplier, trader, and market networks
- Monitor raw material prices, quality, availability, freight, and market trends
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials to support uninterrupted production
- Develop new suppliers and drive cost optimization
- Coordinate with Plant, Production, Quality, Stores, Finance and Logistics teams
- Monitor supplier performance and prepare procurement MIS
- Candidate Profile
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in Raw Material Procurement
- Experience in TMT / Steel / Iron & Steel / Heavy Manufacturing preferred




- Strong supplier and market network for steel-making raw materials
- Graduate / MBA / PGDM in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Materials Management preferred
- Excellent negotiation, commercial, and vendor-management skills
- Robust knowledge of Eastern India raw material markets preferred
