Position: Procurement Executive

Department: Purchase / Supply Chain

Industry: API / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Experience: 2 to 3 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Source and procure API raw materials, intermediates, solvents, excipients, and chemicals from approved vendors.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate commercial terms with suppliers.
- Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely processing through SAP/ERP.
- Coordinate with Production Planning, Stores, QC, QA, and Finance for material requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock to avoid production disruptions.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and resolve supply chain issues.
- Identify alternate sources and develop new vendors for critical raw materials.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with GMP, regulatory, and company requirements.




- Maintain procurement records, supplier documentation, and contracts.
- Track market trends and raw material price fluctuations to optimize procurement costs.
- Prepare procurement MIS reports, vendor performance reports, and cost-saving analyses.

Qualification
- B.Sc / M.Sc /Any Graduate
