Role Overview

We are looking for a Process Simulation Engineer to lead virtual process simulation and Digital Pre-Assembly activities for AMRs, cobots and advanced manufacturing applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop virtual manufacturing cells, robot paths and reach studies using Process Simulation software.
- Simulate AMR navigation paths, fleet traffic flow and material-handling movement.
- Perform cobot/robot kinematic, reach and motion studies for manufacturing tasks.
- Develop end-effector/gripper clouds for fixture and tooling development.
- Assess cycle time including AMR travel time, robot/cobot task time and overall process completion time.
- Perform DPA checks for fitment, clearance, accessibility and interference and identify No-Go conditions.
- Modify robot/AMR paths and cobot task sequences based on layout, process, CAD and facility feedback.
- Support Virtual Build Events with station details, simulation videos, engineering presentations and documented outcomes.
- Evaluate multiple product/process variants, facility interferences and AMR traffic congestion.

Mandatory Technical Skills




- Hands-on experience in Process Simulation / Process Simulate and Siemens Teamcenter.
- Experience with AMR, robotics, cobots and manufacturing automation.
- Valuable understanding of material handling, assembly operations and automated work cells.
- Understanding of robot/AMR/cobot mounting, navigation strategy and facility/locator drawings.
- Good knowledge of Bill of Process (BOP) and Bill of Design (BOD) for automated work cells.
- Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills
- AutoCAD and Tc VisMockup / Teamcenter Visualization.
- Camtasia and RoboDK.
- Knowledge of ISO 10218 and ISO/TS 15066.
- Experience with Virtual Build Events and digital manufacturing feasibility.

Candidate Profile Process Simulation Engineer with 3–5+ years of relevant experience, strong Process Simulate/Teamcenter capability and practical exposure to AMR, cobot, robotics and manufacturing automation.
