- - Lead andmanagethetechnical and commercialdelivery of electrical designpackagesacross railinfrastructure projectswithafocus onhigh voltage (HV) substation, tractionpowerand LVdesign.
- Developconcept and detaileddesigns,keyelements of design deliverables including technical reports, electricalcalculationsanddesign specifications
- Review CAD drawings and ensure thorough documentation of all design work.
- Mentor and oversee the work of junior engineers and CAD technicians.
- Act as Lead Engineer/CRE, Checkeron projects, ensuring all outputs are delivered on time, to budget and to client expectations.
- Ensureaccuracy in drawings and calculations,designscomply withall relevant regulations, including CDM and Health Safety legislation
- Provide technical and commercial oversight, including design planning, riskmanagementand quality assurance




- Play a key role in developing ourHVsubstationand LVdesign capabilityas part of the Electrification Power (EP) team
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and constructible design solutions
- Familiarity with the full project lifecycle from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design and construction support
- Demonstrated abilityto manage design packagesindependentlyand contribute to project planning and execution.

Qualifications

Qualification

- BE/ BTech or ME/MTech degree in Electrical Engineering
- Chartered (or actively working towards chartership) with arecognisedinstitution (e.g.IET)or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization
- 12 + years of experiencein railway Electrification Power design and delivery
- Experience in leading projects as achecker,CRE or Lead Engineer
- Proven experience in HVsubstationdesign,tractionpowerand LV designpreferably on Rail infrastructure projects.
- Experience working with UK clients or on international projects is a robust advantage.
- Strong understanding of international design standards (such as Network Rail, BS, IEC, or equivalent).
- Strong technical writing, Excellent communication,coordinationand stakeholder engagement skills
- A collaborative and proactive mindset with the ability to lead, mentor and influence others
