About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and dynamic Principal to lead and manage the overall academic, administrative, and operational activities of the institution. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of NAAC processes, accreditation, Bangalore University procedures, admissions, academic planning, faculty management, and institutional administration.

Key Responsibilities1. Academic Leadership

- Provide strategic leadership for all academic departments and ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
- Monitor academic performance, curriculum implementation, examinations, results, and student development.
- Coordinate with HODs, faculty members, academic coordinators, and administrative teams.
- Develop and implement academic plans, policies, and institutional goals.

2. NAAC & Accreditation

- Lead and coordinate all NAAC accreditation and quality-assurance activities.
- Oversee preparation of SSR, AQAR, supporting documents, data, and evidence required for NAAC.
- Coordinate with IQAC and various departments for timely collection and submission of institutional data.
- Ensure continuous improvement in academic and administrative quality standards.
- Handle NAAC peer-team visits, documentation, presentations, and compliance requirements.

3. Bangalore University Coordination

- Should have strong knowledge of Bangalore University rules, regulations, academic procedures, and affiliation requirements.
- Coordinate with Bangalore University regarding examinations, affiliation, academic matters, approvals, inspections, and other institutional requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with university authorities and ensure compliance with university guidelines.

4. Admissions & Student Management

- Take overall responsibility for student admissions and admission-related activities.




- Develop and monitor admission strategies to achieve institutional targets.
- Coordinate with the Admission Head, Admission Counsellors, and marketing team.
- Monitor enquiries, applications, conversions, student onboarding, and retention.
- Support promotional activities and institutional outreach initiatives.

5. Faculty & Staff Management

- Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance monitoring, and development of teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Monitor faculty attendance, workload, discipline, performance, and professional development.
- Conduct regular meetings with HODs and department heads to review departmental performance.
- Address staff-related concerns and ensure smooth functioning of departments.

6. Administration & Institutional Operations

- Oversee the overall functioning of the college and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate with management, HODs, administration, HR, accounts, admissions, and support teams.
- Ensure implementation of institutional policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Handle student, parent, staff, university, and other stakeholder concerns appropriately.
- Monitor discipline, infrastructure, facilities, and campus operations.

7. Institutional Development

- Develop strategies for improving admissions, academic results, student experience, and institutional reputation.
- Support industry collaborations, international tie-ups, academic partnerships, seminars, conferences, and institutional initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for new courses, programs, collaborations, and institutional growth.




- Represent the institution at meetings, events, university interactions, and external forums.

Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Ph.D. preferred / highly desirable.
- Candidates with strong academic and administrative experience in higher education will be preferred.
- Experience with Bangalore University or an institution affiliated with/working under Bangalore University will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of NAAC, IQAC, accreditation, and higher-education compliance processes.

Required Experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience in higher education, academic administration, or institutional leadership.
- Prior experience as Principal / Vice Principal / Dean / HOD / senior academic administrator preferred.
- Demonstrated experience handling NAAC accreditation and institutional documentation.
- Experience managing admissions, faculty, students, administration, and overall college operations.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong understanding of NAAC and Bangalore University procedures.
- Capable of independently managing the overall functioning of a college.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Result-oriented with the ability to improve admissions, academics, discipline, and institutional performance.
- Should be comfortable coordinating with management, university authorities, faculty, students, parents, and external stakeholders.
- Immediate joiners / candidates available at short notice will be preferred.
