Preference is given to full-time PhD scholars who completed their PhD in EEE, EIE, CIE, and Mechatronics ( other departments will not be considered ) within the last 3 years and are located near the Coimbatore Region .

Fellowship Duration & Benefits:

- Monthly Salary up to INR 60,000.
- Initial appointment: 1 year
- Extendable up to 2 years based on performance

Essential and Desirable Skills

- Strong theoretical and practical background in classical and contemporary control systems, including system modelling, stability analysis, controller design, and performance evaluation for linear and non-linear systems.
- Strong publication record or demonstrated potential to publish in high-impact peer-reviewed international journals in control engineering, automation, or related domains.
- Proven research experience in process control, autonomous systems, or intelligent control, with exposure to real-world industrial or cyber-physical applications.
- Excellent proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/ROS for control system modelling, simulation, algorithm development, and performance validation.

Responsibilities

- Conduct independent and collaborative research
- Publish research findings in high-impact journals and conferences
- Assist PI in proposal development for external funding
- Support postgraduate research supervision
