Job Summary

We are looking for a Post-Silicon Validation Engineer with 25 years of experience in semiconductor, embedded hardware, SoC, ASIC, or silicon validation.

The candidate will be responsible for validating and debugging silicon/SoC-based products at the post-silicon stage, performing hardware and system-level testing, analyzing test results, identifying failures, and working with cross-functional teams to resolve hardware and firmware issues.

Candidates with experience in chip validation, board bring-up, hardware debugging, ATE/testing, embedded systems, or semiconductor testing are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform post-silicon validation and testing of semiconductor devices, SoCs, ASICs, and embedded hardware platforms.
- Develop and execute validation test plans, test cases, and test procedures.
- Perform functional, system-level, performance, power, and reliability validation.
- Support silicon bring-up and board bring-up activities.
- Debug hardware, firmware, and system-level issues using appropriate debugging techniques and tools.
- Analyze test failures, logs, traces, and validation data to identify root causes.
- Work closely with Design, RTL, Firmware, Software, Hardware, Product Engineering, and Test Engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Perform characterization and validation across different operating conditions and configurations.
- Document test results, defects, root-cause analysis, and validation reports.
- Support regression testing and automation of repetitive validation activities.
- Track issues through closure and communicate status to relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to improving test coverage, validation methodologies, and overall product quality.

Required Technical Skills
- 2–5 years of experience in Post-Silicon Validation, Silicon Validation, Hardware Validation, Semiconductor Testing,



or Embedded Hardware Testing.
- Good understanding of SoC, ASIC, IC, semiconductor, or embedded hardware architecture.
- Experience with hardware/system-level testing and debugging.
- Experience in board bring-up and silicon bring-up is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as:

- JTAG

- Oscilloscope

- Logic Analyzer

- Multimeter / DMM
- GDB or similar debugging tools
- Good understanding of embedded systems and firmware interaction with hardware.
- Programming/scripting knowledge in C/C++ and/or Python.
- Good understanding of Linux/embedded Linux environments is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

ATE / Automated Testing – Preferred Candidates with exposure to Automated Test Equipment (ATE) will be preferred.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2 - 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Semiconductor / electronics / embedded systems experience preferred.
