We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Podcast Video Editor to join our production team in Mumbai.

You will be responsible for transforming professionally recorded long-form podcast footage into high-quality YouTube episodes, engaging short-form videos, Reels, and Instagram Reels/YouTube Shorts.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands not just video editing, but also storytelling, audience retention, pacing, and social-media content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit 60–90 minute long-form podcast episodes for YouTube.
- Sync and edit multi-camera footage and professional audio.
- Create engaging cuts with strong pacing and seamless transitions.
- Perform colour correction and colour grading.
- Clean, mix, and synchronise podcast audio.
- Create 15+ Shorts/Reels from each podcast episode.
- Identify strong hooks, interesting moments and viral-worthy segments.
- Add captions, titles, graphics, animations, B-roll, and relevant visual elements.
- Create compelling first 3–5 second hooks for Shorts/Reels.
- Maintain consistent visual branding across all content.
- Export videos according to YouTube, Instagram, and other platform specifications.
- Organise project files, footage, assets, and final exports efficiently.
- Stay updated with current YouTube, Instagram Reels, and Shorts editing trends.

Required Skills:

- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Good working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of colour correction and colour grading.
- Experience with multi-camera editing.
- Robust audio editing and mixing skills.




- Excellent understanding of social-media short-form content.
- Good sense of storytelling, pacing and audience retention.
- Ability to identify the most engaging moments from long-form conversations.
- Knowledge of typography, captions, transitions and motion graphics.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple episodes simultaneously.

For every podcast episode, you may be responsible for producing:

1. Long-Form

- 60–90 minute YouTube episode
- Multi-camera edit
- Audio mixing
- Colour correction/grading
- Intro/outro and branded graphics

2. Short-Form

- 15+ Instagram Reels
- 15+ YouTube Shorts
- Strong hooks
- Dynamic captions
- Platform-optimised editing

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience editing podcasts, interviews, documentaries or YouTube channels.
- Portfolio demonstrating strong long-form and short-form editing.
- Experience working with talking-head/interview content.
- Understanding of YouTube audience retention and content performance.
- Experience with motion graphics is a major plus.
