Role Description This is a full-time PLC Programmer role based in Chennai, offered in a hybrid mode with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The PLC Programmer will design, develop, and test PLC programs for industrial automation projects, configure control logic, and integrate PLCs with field devices and HMI/SCADA systems.

Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and modifying ladder logic or function block diagrams, commissioning systems at client sites, troubleshooting control issues, and optimizing existing programs for performance and reliability. The role involves preparing technical documentation, I/O lists, and wiring details, collaborating with project and design engineers, and providing support during installation, testing, and maintenance. The PLC Programmer will also interact with clients to understand requirements, participate in FAT/SAT activities, and ensure adherence to safety standards and industry best practices.





Qualifications

- Strong foundation in PLC programming (e.g., ladder logic, function block, structured text) and experience with major PLC platforms (such as Siemens, mitsubishi ,omron,Delta,Allen-Bradley, Schneider, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with HMI/SCADA integration, field instrumentation (sensors, drives, actuators), and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs;, and control schematics; familiarity with panel wiring and basic electrical safety practices.
- Competence in troubleshooting automation systems, diagnosing control faults, and implementing robust solutions in live industrial environments.
- Good documentation skills, including preparation of test reports, user manuals, and project records, with attention to detail and configuration management.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact professionally with clients.
- Relevant technical education such as a diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
- Willingness to travel to client sites when required, and flexibility to work in industrial environments while following all safety and compliance guidelines.
- Prior experience in industrial automation, process control, or manufacturing projects is an advantage; fresh graduates with strong fundamentals may also **be NOTE:People from Tamilnadu will be** Preferred.
