Role Description The Plant Manager role at HPIPL is a full-time, remote position responsible for overseeing daily plant operations and ensuring efficient manufacturing processes.

The Plant

Manager will coordinate production planning, monitor plant performance, and implement operational best practices to meet quality, safety, and delivery standards. This role includes managing manufacturing workflows, optimizing resource utilization, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, quality, and supply chain to support project requirements.

Manager will also drive continuous improvement initiatives, maintain compliance with regulatory and company policies, and prepare regular reports on operational metrics and plant performance. The position requires proactive communication, remote team coordination, and strong leadership in a distributed work environment.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in Plant Management and Plant Operations, with the ability to oversee end-to-end facility performance.
- Strong background in Operations Management and Manufacturing Operations, ensuring efficient, secure, and high-quality production processes.
- Proficiency in Production Planning, including capacity planning, scheduling, and coordination with procurement and logistics.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards, quality control, and lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to lead and coordinate remote and on-site teams, with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in engineering, automotive, or infrastructure manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in operations or lean manufacturing are an advantage.
- Comfort with digital tools and systems for remote monitoring, reporting, and collaboration.
