Responsible for overseeing the financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing cost controls, and optimizing financial performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in budgeting, financial planning, and cost management within a manufacturing environment at plant level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Management:
- Oversee and manage the factorys financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- prepared key MIS reports & monitored and control factory expenses, ensuring cost optimization and efficiency.
- Month closing activity & costing.
- Cost Control & Analysis:
- Analyse production costs and implement cost-reduction strategies.
- Conduct variance analysis between budgeted and actual costs.
- Ensure proper & accurate product costing.
- Ensure the implementation of cost-effective financial practices/VAVE.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with tax laws (GST), financial regulations, DOA, and corporate policies.
- Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, and financial assessments.
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Working Capital Management:
- Manage working capital efficiently,
including inventory and receivables.
- Solid central on slow-moving & Non-moving inventory.
- AP management & reconciliation
- Process Improvement & Internal Controls:
- Implement robust financial controls to prevent fraud and ensure operational efficiency.
- Continuously assess and improve financial processes for enhanced productivity.
- implementing systems/procedures with the help of IT team.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team at the factory.
- Provide training and guidance to ensure compliance with financial best practices.
- Foster a culture of financial accountability and transparency.
- Support Plant Management
- Helping in effective planning of production & inventory.
- Fixed Assets Management
- Review of Capex Proposal for the plant and analyse as per financial aspects like ROI, NPV and IRR and suggest.
- Highlighting key concern of plant and ensure control on cost leakage.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Mandatory - MBA in Finance or equivalent.
Desired – Mandatory + CMA/CA
