Role Description The Placement Director (Edtech & Online Placements) is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The role involves designing and executing placement strategies for learners in online and hybrid programs, building and managing relationships with hiring partners, and overseeing end-to-end recruitment pipelines.

The Placement

Director will lead placement operations, coordinate campus drives and virtual hiring events, and guide learners through interview preparation and career planning. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with training teams to align curricula with market needs, tracking placement metrics, preparing reports for leadership, and ensuring consistent communication with corporate stakeholders. The role also includes managing a small team,



optimizing processes for higher placement conversion, and supporting financial planning related to placement outcomes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Training and Career Counseling skills to prepare learners for interviews, workplace readiness, and long-term growth opportunities.
- Candidates should possess solid Hiring and Recruiting skills to manage employer outreach, screening processes, and coordination of placement activities.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance skills to understand budgets, placement-related costs, and revenue impact from successful placements.
- Demonstrated experience in placement management, talent acquisition, or career services in edtech, higher education, or corporate training environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills for working with recruiters, corporate partners, and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities, including comfort with placement dashboards, CRM tools, and data-driven decision-making.
- Proven leadership capabilities, including team management, process improvement, and the ability to deliver against placement targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
