Role Description This is a full-time, in office Piping Engineer role based in the Pune Division.

The Piping

Engineer will be responsible for carrying out piping design and layout activities for process equipment and plant facilities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Daily tasks include performing engineering calculations, preparing and reviewing piping drawings and isometrics, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams,



and supporting 3D modeling and routing. The role involves conducting stress analysis for critical lines, resolving technical issues during fabrication and installation, and supporting quality, safety, and constructability reviews.

The Piping

Engineer will also contribute to documentation, technical reports, and continuous improvement of design practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Piping Design and Piping layout for industrial plants.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Pipe components, materials, and related standards.
- Candidates should possess proven ability in Calculations related to piping systems and equipment interfaces.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Stress Analysis of piping, including familiarity with relevant codes and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Experience in EPC or process equipment projects, preferably in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, or Power.
- Proficiency in relevant design and analysis software (e.g., 3D CAD tools, piping stress analysis programs).
- Strong understanding of industry codes and standards (ASME, API, IBR, and related guidelines).
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with attention to safety and quality.
