Position: Female Physical Education Teacher / Sports Coach

Radiant Public School is looking for an energetic, disciplined, and highly motivated Female Physical Education Teacher / Sports Coach who can actively contribute to the school's sports culture and train students for competitive-level participation.

We are particularly looking for a candidate with strong expertise in Basketball, Football, and/or Volleyball, with Basketball coaching experience preferred.

The candidate should be capable of identifying sporting talent, developing students' physical fitness and sporting skills, and preparing school teams for CBSE, district, state, national, and other inter-school competitions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct structured Physical Education classes for students across different age groups.
- Plan and conduct regular fitness, sports, and physical development activities.
- Provide specialized coaching in Basketball, Football, Volleyball, or other major sports.
- Form, train, and manage school sports teams.
- Prepare students for inter-school, CBSE Cluster, district, state, and national-level tournaments.
- Identify talented students and develop individual training plans for competitive sports.
- Organize sports trials, tournaments, sports day activities, house competitions, and inter-house events.
- Maintain discipline, safety, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fitness standards among students.
- Maintain sports equipment, inventory, playground facilities, and sports records.




- Coordinate with school management and academic leadership regarding sports schedules and competitions.
- Encourage maximum student participation in physical education and sports activities.
- Maintain records of students' achievements, certificates, medals, and participation in competitions.

Preferred Sports Specialization Highest preference will be given to candidates specializing in:

- Basketball
- Football
- Volleyball

Candidates with expertise in additional sports such as athletics, badminton, handball, skating, or other recognized competitive sports will be an advantage.

Qualification

- B.P.Ed. / M.P.Ed. from a recognized university/institution.
- Relevant sports coaching certification will be preferred.
- Candidates possessing State, National, or International-level participation/coaching certificates will receive preference.
- Candidates who have represented their university, state, or country in recognized sporting events are strongly encouraged to apply.

Experience
- Previous experience as a Physical Education Teacher / Sports Coach in a reputed school or sports academy is preferred.
- Experience preparing students or teams for CBSE Cluster, District, State, National, SGFI, or similar recognized competitions will be an added advantage.




- Fresh candidates with outstanding national/international sports credentials may also be considered.

Skills Required
- Strong practical knowledge of sports and physical fitness.
- Excellent coaching and student-management skills.
- Ability to motivate and develop young athletes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong discipline and leadership qualities.
- Ability to organize tournaments and sporting events.
- Knowledge of sports rules, injury prevention, warm-up, conditioning, and fitness assessment.

Preferred Candidate Profile We are looking for a Female Physical Education Teacher who is not limited to conducting routine PT periods, but is passionate about building a robust competitive sports culture within the school.

Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate:

- Strong playing or coaching credentials.
- Proven student/team achievements.
- National or international-level sports participation/certification.
- Ability to independently manage and train school teams.
- Experience specifically in Basketball, Football, or Volleyball.

Basketball specialists will be given additional preference.
