Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physical Design Engineer Fresher role based in Hyderabad. The role involves supporting the physical design flow, including floorplanning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and timing closure under the guidance of senior engineers.

Responsibilities include assisting with physical verification activities, analyzing design reports and logs, and contributing to design optimization for power, performance, and area. The engineer will collaborate with logic and RTL design teams to understand design intent,



help resolve integration issues, and participate in design reviews and documentation. Day-to-day tasks also include learning and using industry-standard EDA tools, following established methodologies, and maintaining high-quality results in a fast-paced project setting.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Physical Design concepts, including floorplanning, placement, routing, and timing analysis.
- Knowledge of Physical Verification methodologies, such as DRC, LVS, and signal integrity checks.
- Understanding of Logic Design principles, combinational and sequential circuits, and basic digital system design.
- Exposure to Circuit Design fundamentals, including CMOS concepts, power, performance, and reliability considerations.
- Familiarity with RTL Design concepts and hardware description languages (such as Verilog or VHDL).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, VLSI, or related discipline.
- Ability to learn and work with industry-standard EDA tools for physical design and verification.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team-based environment.
- Interest in semiconductor technology and willingness to grow in advanced-node physical design projects.
