About the Role

Task Tracker Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and passionate PHP CodeIgniter Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Core PHP, CodeIgniter (CI3/CI4), and MySQL, with the ability to develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, integrate, and maintain software solutions while following industry best practices and coding standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter.
- Write clean, reusable, modular, and maintainable code following coding standards and software development best practices.
- Design, develop, and optimize MySQL databases, including schemas, complex queries, joins, indexes, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Integrate and manage external services such as Payment Gateways, SMS, Email, WhatsApp, OAuth, and other APIs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application, database, and performance-related issues.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with Front-end Developers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and Product Managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and processes.




- Manage source code using Git and follow version-control best practices.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and ensure proper code documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development with strong expertise in CodeIgniter (CI3/CI4).
- Excellent command of Core PHP and strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including:
- Inheritance
- Polymorphism
- Encapsulation
- Abstraction
- Interfaces
- Traits
- SOLID Principles
- Strong ability to write clean, reusable, modular, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Strong experience with MySQL, including:
- Database design
- Complex queries
- Joins
- Indexing
- Stored procedures
- Query optimization
- Performance tuning
- Hands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience integrating third-party services such as Payment Gateways, SMS, Email, WhatsApp, OAuth, and external APIs.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture and software design patterns.
- Experience with application performance optimization, debugging, profiling, and refactoring.
- Good understanding of web application security concepts, including:
- SQL Injection
- XSS
- CSRF
- Authentication
- Authorization
- Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valuable verbal and written communication skills.
