Role Description The PGT Social Science educator will design and deliver engaging Social Science lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for senior classes. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lesson content, preparing teaching materials, conducting classroom instruction, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The educator will also guide learners in projects, research work, and exam preparation while maintaining classroom discipline and a positive learning setting.

Additional duties include collaborating with colleagues, participating in school events and co-curricular activities, and communicating with parents or guardians as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Skylark World School in Lucknow.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Teach Political Science and History to senior secondary students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.




- Prepare engaging and effective lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Ensure conceptual clarity and encourage critical thinking among students.
- Prepare students for internal assessments, board examinations, and other academic activities.
- Conduct regular tests, evaluate answer sheets, and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies and technology to make lessons interactive and engaging.
- Participate actively in school events, meetings, examinations, and other academic activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress when required.
- Maintain academic records and complete all assigned responsibilities within the given timelines.

Eligibility

- Strong subject knowledge in Political Science and History.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate senior secondary students.
- Proficiency in preparing lesson plans, assessments, and academic resources.
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and board examination patterns will be preferred.
- Ability to use technology and digital teaching tools effectively.

Qualification Experience

- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level will be preferred.
- Experience teaching Class XI and XII students, particularly for CBSE curriculum, will be an added advantage.

Qualification

- Postgraduate Degree in Political Science / History or a relevant subject from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. degree is mandatory/preferred as per applicable teaching requirements.
