Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Garments Pattern Master to lead pattern development and ensure accurate fit, grading, and production-ready patterns. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, sizing, and production feasibility, with the ability to work closely with the design, sampling, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities of Pattern Making & Development

- Develop accurate patterns based on design sketches, tech packs, and sample references
- Create master patterns, proto patterns, and production patterns
- Ensure proper fit, balance, and comfort across all sizes
- Make pattern corrections based on fit trials and feedback

Sampling & Fit

- Coordinate with sampling master for first sample, fit sample, and size set samples
- Attend and support fit sessions, analyze fit issues, and implement corrections
- Ensure patterns meet brand standards and quality expectations

Grading & Size Management

- Perform pattern grading as per size charts and measurement standards
- Maintain consistency in measurements across all sizes
- Support development of size charts for recent styles or categories

Production Coordination





- Ensure patterns are production-friendly and optimized for cutting and stitching
- Work closely with cutting, stitching, and quality teams to resolve issues
- Support bulk production by addressing pattern or fit-related challenges

Fabric & Construction Knowledge

- Understand fabric behavior (knits, wovens, stretch, blends) and adjust patterns accordingly
- Suggest suitable construction methods to improve fit, comfort, and efficiency

Documentation & Systems

- Maintain proper pattern records, revisions, and version control
- Ensure all patterns are clearly labeled and stored systematically

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of pattern making, grading, and garment construction
- Hands-on experience with knits and/or woven garments
- Ability to read and interpret design sketches and tech packs
- Experience in fit analysis and corrections

Tools & Systems

- Experience with Richpeace software

Preferred

- Experience working with brands or export/domestic manufacturing units
- Experience in product categories such as innerwear, outerwear, activewear.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
