Patient Counsellor – Roles & Responsibilities

- Welcome and guide patients and attendants.

- Understand patient needs, concerns, and expectations.

- Explain treatment plans and procedures in straightforward language.

- Explain pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions.

- Coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups.

- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, and other departments.

- Handle patient enquiries and provide appropriate information.

- Conduct patient follow-up calls.

- Maintain patient records and counselling details.

- Explain treatment packages and estimates as per hospital guidelines.

- Assist patients with insurance/TPA-related coordination.

- Handle routine patient complaints and escalate serious issues.





- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.

- Educate patients about hospital services and treatment procedures.

- Ensure a smooth and positive patient experience.

- Maintain daily counselling and follow-up reports.

- Update patient information in hospital software/CRM.

- Track pending appointments, investigations, and follow-ups.

- Collect patient feedback and report concerns to management.

- Support patient retention and improve patient satisfaction.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
