Job Overview

We are looking for an Analyst OTC Derivatives Confirmations to join the Markets Operations team. The role will be responsible for drafting, validating and dispatching trade confirmations across OTC Derivatives, while ensuring accuracy of trade economics, compliance with applicable documentation standards and timely completion within defined SLAs.

The role involves close interaction with Front Office, Middle Office, Legal, Trade Processing teams and external counterparties to resolve trade discrepancies, documentation issues and outstanding confirmations.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review and validate trade confirmations for a range of OTC Derivatives including Equity Derivatives, FX, Money Market, Credit and Interest Rate Derivatives.
- Perform final verification of trade economics, payoff profiles, pricing factors and other trade details before confirmation dispatch.
- Prepare and validate confirmations by referencing trade booking systems, term sheets and relevant documentation.
- Ensure appropriate use of ISDA Definitions, Supplements, MCAs and confirmation templates.
- Coordinate with clients/counterparties to ensure timely execution and completion of confirmations.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between trade bookings, term sheets, broker details and confirmations.
- Work closely with Front Office, Middle Office,



Operations and Legal teams to resolve economic and non-economic queries.
- Handle confirmation amendments and support relevant trade lifecycle events, including novations and early terminations.
- Ensure confirmations are dispatched, suppressed or amended in accordance with established procedures
- Prepare and maintain MIS, KPI and process performance reports.
- Support operational risk management and contribute to the implementation of effective controls.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to documentation and process enhancement initiatives.
- Participate in projects related to OTC Derivatives, Confirmations and Documentation processes.
- Support training of new team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing activities.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy while handling volume spikes and time-sensitive transactions.

Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in OTC Derivatives / Derivatives Operations / Trade Confirmations / Trade Support / Middle Office.
- Hands-on experience in OTC Derivatives is preferred.
- Knowledge of Equity Derivatives, FX, Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit Derivatives or Money Market products.
- Robust understanding of the OTC trade lifecycle.
- Experience in trade confirmations and validation of trade economics.
- Knowledge of ISDA documentation, definitions, supplements and confirmation templates.
- Ability to interpret trade bookings, term sheets and confirmation details.

Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Commerce or a related discipline.
