Pre-Operative Duties (Before Surgery)

- Prepare the Room: Set up the operating table, surgical lights, and required apparatus.

- Sterilize Equipment: Clean and disinfect surgical tools, instruments, and the overall room to prevent infections.

- Check Machines: Ensure anesthesia machines, monitors, suction units, and oxygen supplies work properly.

- Organize Supplies: Stock trays with gloves, sutures, drapes, and correct instruments. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Intra-Operative Duties (During Surgery)

- Assist the Team: Hand surgical instruments to surgeons and scrub nurses quickly and safely.

- Monitor Equipment: Operate and watch medical devices like lights, monitors, and suction machines.

- Support Anesthesia: Help the anesthesiologist track patient vital signs, IV fluids,



or drugs.

- Maintain Sterility: Protect the sterile field and keep track of instruments and sponges to ensure safety. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Post-Operative Duties (After Surgery)

- Clean and Dispose: Safely discard biomedical waste and sterilize used instruments.

- Transfer Patients: Help move the patient safely from the operating table to the recovery room.

- Reset the Theatre: Prepare and restock the room for the next scheduled procedure

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
