Oracle Cloud HCM - UK Payroll Functional / Techno-Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll Functional / Techno-Functional Consultant with a minimum of 8+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud experience to work on Oracle Cloud HCM UK Payroll implementation, enhancement, and BAU support engagements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Oracle Cloud UK Payroll Legislation configuration and business process, Developing Payroll Rapid Formulas, and payroll-related configurations, along with a good understanding of Oracle Cloud Core HR, Absence Management, and Oracle Time & Labor (OTL) modules that integrate with Payroll. The consultant will be responsible for supporting business requirements, payroll configurations, testing activities, issue resolution, and production support while working with client stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams.

The role requires the ability to work within an Agile delivery model, support business-as-usual (BAU) activities, and collaborate with UK-based stakeholders during UK business hours.

Key Responsibilities

- The successful candidate should possess strong functional or techno-functional expertise in Oracle Cloud UK Payroll Legislation, with a strong understanding of payroll business processes, payroll configuration, statutory requirements, and payroll integrations.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across client, functional, technical, onsite, and offshore teams.
- Proven experience working as a Functional or Techno-Functional Consultant on Oracle Cloud HCM implementation/enhancement/support engagements.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud UK Payroll legislation configuration, including payroll elements, balances, payroll relationships, costing,



payment methods, payroll flows, payroll interfaces, and statutory payroll processing.
- Good functional understanding of Oracle Cloud Core HR, Absence Management, and Oracle Time & Labor (OTL) modules and their integration touchpoints with Payroll.
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting Payroll Fast Formulas for payroll processing, statutory calculations, validations, and business requirements.
- Experience supporting payroll testing activities including SIT, UAT, payroll validation, payroll reconciliation, parallel runs, defect analysis, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with technical teams on HCM Extracts, Integrations, HDL/HSDL, BI Publisher Reports, OTBI Reports, and payroll-related technical deliverables.
- Support payroll data migration, data validation, reconciliation, mock conversions, cutover activities, deployment, go-live, and post-production support.
- Participating in discovery sessions, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution discussions, and functional design reviews.
- Support Agile project delivery activities.
- Work with business users and client stakeholders to analyze issues, provide recommendations, and ensure successful delivery of payroll solutions.
- Support BAU activities, incident management, service requests, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to join and actively participate in customer workshops, status meetings, design discussions, and issue resolution calls as required.
- Assess the impact of business process changes, legislative updates, and Oracle quarterly releases on payroll configurations and processes.
- Must be comfortable working from offshore locations while supporting UK business hours and collaborating with UK-based stakeholders.
- Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll experience within UK payroll environments will be a significant advantage.
