Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments
- Perform refraction and accurately determine prescriptions
- Guide customers on suitable lenses, coatings, and eyewear solutions
- Assist customers with frame selection based on their prescription, face shape, lifestyle, and requirements
- Handle dispensing, fitting, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
- Ensure high standards of customer service and professional consultation
- Maintain accurate customer records and prescription details
- Coordinate with the sales team and in-house laboratory for smooth order execution
- Educate customers about lens care, eyewear usage, and eye health
- Maintain professional standards and hygiene during eye examinations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry (B.Optom)
is mandatory
- Diploma holders will not be considered
- Prior experience in retail optical stores will be an advantage
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills
- Good knowledge of lenses, frames, and optical products
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a premium retail setting
- Well-groomed and professional personality
