Optometrist

Vinoth Eye Care Hospital, Trichy is looking for a skilled and experienced Optometrist to join our professional eye care team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, assisting ophthalmologists, and providing quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Conduct visual acuity, objective and subjective refraction, and other routine optometric tests.
- Assist ophthalmologists during patient consultations and clinical procedures.
- Perform pre-operative and post-operative investigations as required.
- Handle and operate optometric/ophthalmic equipment effectively.
- Explain test results and provide appropriate guidance to patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Ensure smooth patient flow and provide excellent patient care.
- Coordinate with doctors and other hospital departments.
- Follow hospital protocols and maintain skilled standards.

Requirements:





- Mandatory 2–3 years of experience as an Optometrist.
- D.Optom / B.Optom qualification preferred.
- Good knowledge of refraction and basic clinical optometry.
- Experience in handling ophthalmic equipment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient-friendly attitude and good clinical skills.
- Basic computer knowledge preferred.
