Operations Executive – Inward

Department: Operations / Supply Chain Experience: 1–2 Years Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Job Summary

We are looking for an Operations Executive – Inward to manage the smooth and accurate inwarding of goods, coordinate with vendors and warehouse teams, and ensure proper GRN, inventory, and documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities

● Manage daily inwarding of goods from vendors and suppliers.

● Verify received goods against POs, invoices, and delivery challans.

● Ensure accurate and timely GRN creation and processing.

● Identify and resolve quantity, quality, damage, or documentation discrepancies.

● Coordinate with vendors, transporters, warehouse, and procurement teams.

● Maintain accurate inward and inventory records.

● Reconcile physical stock with system records.

● Track pending shipments and follow up for timely deliveries.

● Prepare daily/weekly inward MIS and operational reports.





● Ensure compliance with defined SOPs and processes.

Required Skills

● Knowledge of Inward Operations, GRN, Inventory & Warehouse Management.

● Vendor and stakeholder coordination skills.

● Valuable analytical and problem-solving abilities.

● Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).

● Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Commerce, BBA, or a related field.

Preferred: Experience in FMCG, E-commerce, Retail, Manufacturing, or D2C will be preferred.
