WRole & responsibilities The foundation working in the area of women's health is affiliated with an international entity and is involved with conducting trainings of government medical staff for Comprehensive Abortion Care (CAC) and Post Abortion Family Planning. A key part of the role involves liaison with govt officials at district level such as CMHO, CMO, Family Planning Officer for all aspects of training coordination from advocacy regarding PIP, developing training calendars, facilitating nomination of trainees from among government medical staff, training venue logistics and documentation of training.

The position requires ability to work with MS Excel and MS Power Point with fluency in written, reading and spoken Marathi.



It involves travel upto 18 to 20 days in a month in Maharashtra to different district. While at Pune the work location would be in part work-from-home. The job involves travel of 18 to 20 days per month across all districts of Maharashtra for which TA/DA is separately provided. Travel is by public transport such as Bus / Train.

Preferred candidate profile

1 to 3 years of experience in development organizations preferably working in reproductive health/ family planning or health. Some experience in interaction with district level government officials and experience in programs related to training/capacity building.
