Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Cyber Security Specialist at CLEAR INFOSEC.

The Cyber Security

Specialist will monitor and analyze security events, investigate incidents, and respond to threats across applications, networks, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities include performing vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, reviewing system and application configurations, and recommending remediation measures aligned with best practices and compliance requirements. The role involves collaborating with development, infrastructure, and business teams to integrate security into system design and software development lifecycles.



The specialist will also assist in maintaining security policies and standards, contribute to security awareness initiatives, and prepare clear documentation and reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with experience applying security principles across diverse technologies and environments.
- Hands-on expertise in Network Security, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure network design and monitoring.
- Proficiency in Application Security, including secure coding practices, code review, and application vulnerability assessment and remediation.
- Understanding of broader Cyber domains such as threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP) and experience supporting compliance initiatives.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues, prioritize risks, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical team members.
- Experience with common security tools (SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools) is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent practical experience; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP, Security+) are a plus.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
