Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Naval Subject Matter Expert (Cleared) to work on a contract basis. The role requires active security clearance and direct experience with naval operations, systems, and strategic frameworks. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in naval doctrine, fleet architecture, or maritime security to support high-level decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert analysis on naval technologies, tactics, and procurement strategies for client engagements.
- Advise on the development and integration of naval systems, including sensors, weapons, and command-and-control platforms.
- Evaluate emerging threats in maritime domains and recommend mitigation approaches aligned with naval operational requirements.
- Support the assessment of naval fleet modernization programs and lifecycle management of maritime assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align naval domain insights with broader defense and technology initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must possess active security clearance at the required level for access to classified information.
- Minimum of 7 years of direct experience in naval operations,
engineering, or strategic planning.
- Deep technical knowledge of naval platforms, including submarines, surface combatants, or unmanned systems.
- Experience in naval doctrine development, fleet architecture, or maritime security assessments.
- Familiarity with naval acquisition processes, requirements generation, or lifecycle sustainment of maritime systems.
- Ability to synthesize complex technical and operational data into actionable strategic recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders.
