Role Description This full-time MS Admissions Counselor - US/UK role is a hybrid position based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for partial work from home. The counselor will guide prospective master’s applicants through the entire admissions journey, including profile evaluation, university shortlisting, and application planning for US and UK programs. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, advising on test strategies and timelines, and supporting applicants with essays, statements of purpose, and recommendation planning.

The role involves maintaining regular communication with students and families, addressing queries, and ensuring a high-quality, supportive experience. The counselor will also collaborate with internal teams on process improvement, content and webinars, and contribute to outreach,



workshops, and events that build CollegePass’s presence among prospective students.

Qualifications

- Solid Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to counsel diverse applicants and interact with families and stakeholders.
- Customer Service experience to provide responsive, empathetic, and solutions-focused support throughout the admissions process.
- Sales skills to explain program value, handle inquiries, and support enrollment decisions in an ethical and student-centered manner.
- Education-related experience, such as academic advising, teaching, or coaching, to understand student needs and academic pathways.
- Knowledge of US and UK master’s admissions processes, including universities, programs, application components, and timelines.
- Ability to analyze student profiles and recommend realistic, aspirational, and safe university options aligned with their goals.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple student cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfort with digital tools, online communication platforms, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or similar systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a master’s degree or prior experience in higher education consulting or admissions is an advantage.
