Job Summary-Urgent

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage MIS reporting by gathering, consolidating, and analyzing data from plant operations and other internal stakeholders. The candidate will work closely with the CFO to ensure accurate, timely financial and operational reports that support management decision-making. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, hands-on ERP/SAP experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare periodic (daily/weekly/monthly) MIS reports by collecting and consolidating data from plant operations, production, procurement, sales, and other internal departments.
- Coordinate with plant teams and other stakeholders to gather accurate operational and financial data on a timely basis.
- Maintain and update financial data, cost sheets, and performance dashboards for management review.
- Work on ERP/SAP systems for data extraction, entry, reconciliation, and report generation.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy of accounts and MIS data.
- Analyze variances between budgeted and actual figures (production cost, expenses, revenue, etc.) and highlight key insights to the CFO.
- Support in preparation of management presentations, budget reports, and cost analysis.
- Ensure proper documentation, filing, and record-keeping of financial and operational data.




- Liaise with cross-functional teams (plant/operations, procurement, sales, HR) to resolve data discrepancies and ensure smooth reporting flow.
- Assist in internal audits and statutory compliance requirements as needed.
- Continuously improve MIS formats/templates for better clarity and faster decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

- Working knowledge of ERP/SAP (data entry, report extraction, reconciliation)
- Functional understanding of accounting principles (journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, basic financial statements)
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas) for MIS preparation
- Familiarity with cost accounting/plant operations data is an added advantage

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com); CA Inter/ MBA Finance preferred
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounts/MIS reporting, preferably in a manufacturing/plant-based organization
- Prior experience coordinating with plant/operations teams for data collection preferred
